Duke University, Biology Location Durham, NC, USA Closing date November 12, 2021 Description The Benfey lab is a leading developmental biology lab located at Duke University. We are seeking to hire a full-time technician who will primarily work on a project examining single cell gene expression in the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana. Duties will include preparation of single cell RNA-Sequencing libraries, as well as tasks related to general molecular biology, and use/maintenance of a state of the art light sheet microscope. Training will be provided. This is a position suitable for a recent graduate seeking to obtain lab experience before graduate school, or anyone interested in working on a project using cutting edge technologies to help answer fundamental questions on developmental biology. Bachelor's degree in life sciences related field and experience in a molecular biology lab are required. Comments are closed.
