The Plant Cell Atlas (PCA) has  a variety of outreach activities to support our mission: to build a diverse scientific community that will set standards for generating and integrating large plant data sets, create high-quality resources and tools to advance plant science, and provide excellent networking and interdisciplinary training opportunities for early career scientists.

Outreach Highlights

JR Biotek-PCA Mentoring Program Best Talk Prize Winners
The first JR Biotek-Plant Cell Atlas Mentoring Program concluded on November 30, 2022 with each mentee presenting on their research. Joan Kimutai from the University of Ghana was selected as the first prize winner for the Best Talk Prize. Learn more about her and the other prize winners!

STANFORD LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
“The Plant Cell Atlas operates predominantly out of the Carnegie Institution for Science's Plant Biology Department located at Stanford University. Stanford sits on the ancestral land of the Muwekma Ohlone Tribe. This land was and continues to be of great importance to the Ohlone people. Consistent with our values of community and inclusion, we have a responsibility to acknowledge, honor, and make visible the University’s relationship to Native peoples.”
