PCA Initiative
The Plant Cell Atlas (PCA) will be a community resource that comprehensively describes the state of various plant cell types and integrates high-resolution location information of nucleic acids, proteins, and metabolites within plant cells.
Our published perspective, "Towards Building a Plant Cell Atlas", provides a vision for the PCA Initiative. We also held a Kick-off Workshop last year to discuss how to best build this community resource. Our call for papers for a Plant Cell Atlas Focus Issue is open! Deadline to submit an article is May 1, 2021. Selected papers will appear in Plant Physiology in December 2021. This initiative is funded by a grant from the National Science Foundation (Grant # 1916797), Carnegie Institution for Science's President Fund, and BASF. |
PCA celebrates historical Black plant scientists.
