First Plant Cell Atlas Symposium
Virtual Symposium
December 9 & 10, 2021

Objectives

The goal of the Plant Cell Atlas (PCA) is to bring together a community who will comprehensively describe plant cell types by integrating high-resolution subcellular and cellular location information of nucleic acids, proteins, and metabolites.

Symposium Goals:
1) Share the most exciting scientific and technological breakthroughs in plant single cell science.
2) Create a forum for people interested in plant single cell approaches to meet and network.
3) Discuss community building and how PCA relevant data could be analyzed, annotated, and accessed.

Each day will consist of three oral sessions and two poster sessions. Each oral session will feature one invited speaker and 2 speakers selected from abstract submissions. Each oral session will also include time to discuss PCA community building and data handling. Further details of the agenda will be posted here in the upcoming months.

STANFORD LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
“The Plant Cell Atlas operates predominantly out of the Carnegie Institution for Science's Plant Biology Department located at Stanford University. Stanford sits on the ancestral land of the Muwekma Ohlone Tribe. This land was and continues to be of great importance to the Ohlone people. Consistent with our values of community and inclusion, we have a responsibility to acknowledge, honor, and make visible the University’s relationship to Native peoples.”
